Your main focus will be helping children develop social, emotional, and academic skills in a safe and nurturing setting.

Application Requirements:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential).
• Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs, particularly Autism.
• A passion for creating inclusive learning environments.
• Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• A clear DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support for children with SEN, particularly those with autism.
• Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to students’ needs.
• Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
• Use a range of strategies to manage behaviour and support social development.
• Create a safe, supportive learning environment that encourages independence and confidence in students.
