Job Title: Senior Revit Technician

Location: Leicester

Salary: Up to £50k

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday  9 - 5

Type: Office/Site based

Start Date: Immediately (flexible for notice periods)

We are hiring for a Senior Revit Technician for one of our clients in the Leicester area.

Duties of a Senior Revit Technician:

Lead the creation, management, and coordination of Revit models for structural projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
Work collaboratively with engineers to develop structural designs and provide technical support to the team during the design and construction phases.
Ensure all drawings and models are of the highest quality and adhere to industry standards, company practices, and client specifications.
Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure smooth project delivery and resolve any technical issues.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians and team members, helping to develop their skills and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Manage BIM processes and work with other disciplines to ensure effective coordination of the Revit model.
Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and contribute to the overall management of project timelines and deliverables.
Skills and experience of a Senior Revit Technician:

Extensive experience as a Revit Technician, with a minimum of 5 years working in structural engineering.
Advanced knowledge of Revit, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality 3D models and drawings.
Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and building construction.
Experience working on large and complex structural projects, including commercial, residential, and infrastructure developments.
Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
It would be beneficial to the role if you also had:

HND, HNC, or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
Experience with other software such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, or Tekla.
Experience with BIM and BIM management processes.
Previous leadership or mentoring experience in a technical team.
