The Opportunity

The business you'll be joining supplies electrical installation products to electrical contractors and associated trades and industries from their network of over 250 UK locations. They offer a wide range of high quality and cost-effective branded products sourced from the world's leading manufacturers.

As a Branch Manager, you'll join an esteemed network of electrical wholesale branches that are continually expanding through their exceptional service and client-centric approach. This role offers you the unique opportunity to run your branch with a high level of autonomy, covering everything from stock management to staffing and sales strategies. You'll be empowered to build and foster long-lasting relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues alike while driving the success of your own operation.

Key Responsibilities

In this Branch Manager role, you will:

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers
Oversee the entire business operations of the branch, including managing budgets, staff, logistics, and sales
Set and work towards achieving financial and operational targets
Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and enhancing service offerings
Ensure top-tier customer service to meet and exceed client expectationsRequirements

To be successful in this Branch Manager role, you should be:

From a strong electrical wholesale background with experience in branch management or B2B sales
Knowledgeable of the local Bedford area and customer landscape
A skilled negotiator, able to spot and act on new business opportunities
Proactive, with a proven track record in developing supplier and customer relationships
An entrepreneur who is not afraid to take calculated business risks and try new techniques or product rangesBenefits
