I am working with a dedicated school in Sutton, London, looking for an SEN Teacher to lead a small class of students with varying needs. This role offers the flexibility of a long-term placement with a view to permanency or a direct permanent position, depending on your preference.

The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

Be the class teacher for a small group of students with high special and complex needs.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons across multiple subjects, tailored to meet individual needs.
Foster an inclusive, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.
Collaborate with support staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure every child thrives.
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate each child's unique requirements.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a resilient, adaptable, and knowledgeable professional with:

QTS, QTLS, or PGCE (non-negotiable).
Experience with Special, Complex or Social and Emotional Mental Health needs is desired.
A strong understanding of special educational needs and strategies to support them effectively.
The ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
Versatility to teach multiple subjects and tailor approaches to individual learning styles.
A passion for helping children achieve their potential in a positive and supportive environment.
