The role is responsible for overseeing all financial activities across the firm, including accounting, reporting, payments, reconciliations, budgeting, payroll and forecasting. It is the number one finance role reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.

We are ideally looking for the Head of Finance to have direct legal sector experience and knowledge of Solicitor Accounts Regulations.

This is a newly created role due to growth, bringing the accounts in house and the appointed candidate will build a successful team around them and will play a key role in the growth of the firm.

The role will include;

Preparing monthly management reports
Managing Audit process - SRA / Companies House
Budgeting / forecasting / cash flow management
Month-end reporting - Billings/Aged Debtors/Payments/Receipts
Monthly bank reconciliations and ledger management
Managing client accounts in line with Solicitor Accounts Rules
Processing VAT returns
Billings & Payments
Management of Payroll and Pensions
