SEN Teaching Assistant - Secondary School in Haringey, North London

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Haringey, North London. This full-time role is available from September and will run for the full academic year.

About the School: This highly regarded Church of England secondary school has an "Outstanding" Ofsted rating and is a popular choice in the local community. The school is easily accessible by public transport, just 15 minutes by bus from the nearest underground station, and offers limited on-road parking.

The Role: The Headteacher is looking for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with behavioural needs (EBD) across various year groups. You will work closely with these students in class, providing additional support to help them engage with learning and manage challenging behaviour.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with similar needs, along with a calm, firm, and positive approach. You should be able to provide strategies to help students navigate challenging situations and improve their ability to manage their own behaviour. If you have strong Maths or Science skills, this would be an added advantage.

Salary: £90-100 per day
Hours: Full-time, term-time only
