Job Advert: Teaching Assistant in Secondary Schools

Pay Rate: £84-£95 per day
Job Description:
Are you passionate about supporting students and enhancing their educational experience? Career Teachers is looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team in Melbourne. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide support in the classroom, helping to create a positive and effective learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in preparing and delivering lessons.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Support students with special educational needs and English as an Additional Language (EAL).
- Assist with administrative tasks and classroom organisation.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role or working with young people is advantageous.
- Experience in secondary schools and working with EAL students is beneficial.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A driving license is beneficial but not essential.
