Artisan Recruitment are looking for Retrofit Assessor for for a forward thinking company with several national branches.
Duties: • · Carry out all types of technical surveys & whole house retrofit assessments including kit lists, design, drawings, client schedule of rates, and internal schedule of rates, detailed property information and capturing resident information. All in line with company processes and documented procedures. • · To liaise with clients and residents to ensure correct design and understanding of their needs for whole house/deep retrofit to comply with PAS20:35 standards. • · Understanding and compliance with different client specifications • · Understanding of variation and additional extra items when surveying. • · Carry out surveying and design for renewable energy and alternative heating systems • · To carry out an options appraisal for certain clients and property types to propose and quote the best solution for the client and their resident. • · Undertaking condition reports and being capable of highlighting defects and recommending remedial actions. • · Assisting planning staff and engineers on site with technical issues, confirmation of requirements and technical challenges. • · Carry out mandatory floor plans and picture requirements for auditing purposes.n • · Attending client site meetings • · Reporting daily/weekly on progress • · Use of company software system to complete surveys and appointments (full training provided) • · Report to technical administration staff and surveying management on completions, issues and escalations.
Skills/Qualifications: • Experience in customer service and working in occupied homes. • Chartered architectural technologist (MCIAT or FCIAT) registered by the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) • Architect registered by the Architects Registration Board (ARB) • Professional member of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB or FCIOB) • Chartered building surveyor (MRICS or FRICS)
Experience Required: • · Experience of working within the Social Housing Sector on large scale installation contracts, including proven track record in surveying, costing and supervisory roles. • · EPC trained preferable but not mandatory (Willing to undertake training) • · Training is provided for those upskilling into the role on a progression plan.
