Our school serves students aged 4 to 18 years and is proud to be commissioned by Northamptonshire Local Authority to cater specifically to children and young people with an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP).

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our committed team. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of our students. Your primary focus will be on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring that every child receives the support they need to thrive academically and socially.

Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with special educational needs.
Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and contribute to the overall educational strategy for each student.
Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere within the classroom, promoting a positive learning environment.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a holistic support system for each student.
Encourage and facilitate students' independence and self-confidence in their learning.Qualifications and Requirements:

Previous experience working in a similar role within a special educational needs setting is desirable.
A genuine passion for supporting the educational development of children and young people with diverse needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Understanding and knowledge of various special educational needs and the ability to adapt support strategies accordingly.
