Transport Planner
Location: Portsmouth
Salary: £33,000 start  - there will be an opportunity to develop with the business and once your CPC has been completed this can increase up to £38,000- £40K

Hours of work: You will be required to work a shift pattern on a rota basis and these will include the following:

6AM - 1PM
10PM - 4PM
11AM - 6PM Dynamite recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with a leading specialist business who are based in Hampshire. Due to huge success and changes within the business our client is now looking to develop one of their specialist teams and is looking for a Transport Planner to join their business.

As a Transport Planner, you will be responsible for:

Working within a busy transport office
Managing the transportation of goods to specialist areas 
Route and load planning
Scheduling drivers routes
Client liaison- ensuring that the customer’s request are met and updates should any issues arise
Driver liaison- liaising regularly with the drivers to ensure the smooth delivery of goods within agreed time frames, managing any issues that arise
Administration to ensure accurate information The ideal candidate:

Will have worked within Transport and Logistics  previously
Will ideally have some experience of planning routes although this can be taught
Will have excellent communications skills
Will be very organised
Will have good administration skills and experience
Will have a good geographical knowledge of Hampshire
