About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled and dependable 7.5T driver to join our team. You will be responsible for managing a busy daily schedule of approximately 30 drops, so experience in multi-drop driving is essential. Our start time is 8:30 AM, with typical shifts ranging from 8 to 10 hours, giving you a consistent work pattern and allowing you to plan your day.

Key Responsibilities:

* Efficient Multidrop Deliveries: Complete approximately 30 deliveries per day. Our routes can vary, so being comfortable with self-routing is essential. Familiarity with the area will be a significant advantage in helping you make timely and efficient deliveries.

* Self-Loading: You will be responsible for loading your vehicle. This requires an individual with a strong work ethic who isn’t afraid to handle and organize the loading process.

* PDA Use: We use PDAs to help manage our deliveries, so you’ll need basic technology skills to handle deliveries and update order statuses.

* Self-Routing: While routes can vary, you’ll plan your journey each day, ensuring you meet delivery targets in the most efficient way possible.

Requirements:

* Valid 7.5T License: You must hold a valid 7.5-tonne (C1) driving license with no more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsements (such as DR10, DR20, DR30, TT99, etc.)

* CPC and Tachograph Card: Up-to-date Driver CPC and tachograph card are required.

* Experience with Multidrop Deliveries: Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.

* Self-Sufficient with Routing: Knowing the local area will be a great advantage, as this is a self-routing role.

* Physical Fitness: Comfortable with loading and unloading items as part of your daily routine.

* Comfort with Technology: Basic familiarity with PDA or similar technology for route and delivery management.
