Educated Appointments are delighted to be supporting a rapidly expanding Group Training Association with training centres in Hull, Grimsby and Scunthorpe to hire an Electrical Commercial Instructor.

Our client are an Ofsted graded 2 'Good' training provider, which delivers Apprenticeships and both standard and bespoke upskill training courses, providing accredited, industry recognised training from a beginner to an advanced level, all of our courses and standards are taught by highly experienced staff to ensure you receive the best possible training.

Main Purpose

Our client provide engineering skills training for hundreds of companies in the Humber sub-region and beyond.

We recruit industry specialists who want to make the career change to delivering training and skills.

We are looking for an Electrical Commercial Instructor with a high level of industry experience who can deliver high quality engaging learning – this role can be located at either Scunthorpe or Grimsby.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work with our existing instructor teams delivering high quality commercial courses for our client companies such as, but not limited to:

* 18th Edition

* Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (2391)

* Basic Electrical Maintenance

* In Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT testing)

* Health and safety courses

* Safe Isolation

Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.

The successful applicant will have good craft/technical skills, good interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and more than five years industrial experience with the ability to develop new course content and materials.

Relevant qualifications at Level 3 or above in the sector are essential.

Assessor and teaching qualifications are desirable but not essential as full support will be given in the development of necessary skills.

The position will require you to work across our three sites in the Humber sub region with the necessity to travel to our client companies across the UK as the need arises
