As a Materials Controller (MRP), you will oversee the seamless flow of materials in line with production demands, ensuring timely release of production orders to support manufacturing schedules. This role requires a strong understanding of materials requirements planning and familiarity with MRP/ERP systems for tracking and managing supply processes effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage materials requirements planning to align with production schedules.
Release production orders and supporting documentation to the shopfloor.
Understand stock related data associated with SAP and material availability and liaise with Warehouse management to supply materials to the shopfloor.
Liaise with warehouse management and procurement to ensure timely material supply.
Monitor and report on production order progress, participating in regular meetings.
Maintain system data integrity through accurate ERP system administration.
Requirements:

Proven experience as an MRP planner, ERP planner, Materials Coordinator, Production planner, Scheduler or similar within a Manufacturing environment
Experience using SAP systems
Excellent organisational, communications, systems and IT skills
Proficient with Excel and other Microsoft programmes.
Location: Stockport
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Working Hours: 08:00-16:30 (Mon-Thurs), 08:00-13:00 (Fri)
Salary: £38k - £45k (dependent on experience)
Benefits: 7% Pension Contributions, 4% from candidate, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays.
