Sewing Machinist

JOB TITLE: INDUSTRIAL SEWING MACHINIST

RESPONSIBLE TO: PRODUCTION MANAGER

JOB PURPOSE: To sew heavy duty cloth and leather for automotive seating

What's on offer:

Days of work: Monday to Friday 
Hours of work : 08:00 - 17:00, Early finish on Fridays
Salary: £11.44ph - £13.50ph depending on experience
Potential to go permanent after 6 months

Previous industrial sewing machine experience
Ability to work a physically demanding job
Able to follow written instructions accurately

Own transport essential due to location
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

To produce high quality products that meet specifications, both as a part of a team and independently.

To achieve all individual performance standards as agreed.

Follow works instructions to ensure accuracy on specifications.

Quality inspect sewn products.
Minimise and control all waste.
Carry out daily pre-use machines checks and maintenance.
In addition to the above duties and responsibilities, the job holder is required to perform any other duty requested by Management from time to time
