Are you an experienced and compassionate Teaching Assistant passionate about supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? If so, Remedy Education are looking for a Behaviour Teaching Assistant in a welcoming SEMH performing arts school based in Greenwich, starting in January 2025.

As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant (SEMH), You will play a key role in providing targeted support to children with challenging behaviours, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Responsibilities of the Behaviour Teaching Assistant:

Work one-to-one or in small groups to support children with SEMH needs.
Use a child-centred approach to help students manage challenging behaviours effectively.
Assist with implementing Individual Behaviour Plans (IBPs) and tailored strategies.
Foster a positive and inclusive environment to promote students' emotional and academic development.
Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Provide consistent encouragement, patience, and structure to help children succeed.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour management plans.Requirements of the Behaviour Teaching Assistant:

Experience working in a primary school setting is essential.
Proven experience supporting children with SEMH needs or challenging behaviours.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A proactive and compassionate approach to addressing children's individual needs.
