Civil Engineer
 
Our client is looking for a Civil Engineer to join their team in Cardiff.
The civil and structural engineering firm has a 40-year history of delivering innovative, client-focused solutions across sectors including affordable housing, commercial, education, healthcare, highways, hospitality, industrial, mixed-use, and residential. Known for our responsiveness and technical expertise, we tackle projects nationwide with dedication and precision. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and management of projects.
 
Responsibilities of the role:
  - Perform detailed engineering calculations, designs, and documentation for projects from concept through completion, meeting industry standards and regulations.
  - Utilize design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit) to create accurate project deliverables.
  - Liaise with clients to define project requirements, deliver timely technical advice, and ensure satisfaction.
  - Collaborate with structural engineers, architects, and other project stakeholders for integrated, multidisciplinary solutions.
  - Conduct site inspections to ensure alignment with project specifications, troubleshooting issues as needed.
 
Requirements of the role:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (master's degree or chartership preferred).
- Relevant experience in civil engineering design and consultancy.
- Proficiency with industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
- Strong knowledge of UK regulations and best practices in civil engineering.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
