In this role, the successful candidate will lead all health, safety and environmental activities on site ensuring compliance with legislative and corporate standards. This is a hands-on, site based role where you will be involved in toolbox talks, training, site assessments and H&S meetings, whilst creating and implementing strategies to ensure HSE excellence.

The ideal candidate will be a HSE professional with a background working in chemical plant environments. Other hazardous environments will be considered such as distillery and water treatment. Candidates must hold NEBOSH or equivalent.

The Role:

HSE and compliance manager for chemical plant
Develop and implement HSE strategy to ensure legal and corporate standards are met
Deliver toolbox talks, training H&S meetings
Carry out regular site assessments and audits
Drive HSE across development of new plants
The Person:

HSE professional
Experience working in a chemical plant environment, or a similar hazardous environment
NEBOSH or equivalent
HSE, H&S, SHE, Health and Safety, SHEQ, QSHE, HSEQ, Chemical, Plant, Hazardous, Sustainable, Biochemical, NEBOSH, IOSH, Falkirk, Stirling, Grangemouth, Livingston, Stirling, Glasgow, Edinburgh
