Major Recruitment are seeking an experienced Production planner to join our client's manufacturing site near Leicester

The Production Planner will be a key team player within the Operations Team, responsible for manufacturing planning on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities as Production and Logistics Coordinator:

Responsible for ensuring daily production plans are completed.
Interface between Business Assistants, Customer Service and Production.
Ensure correct and timely requests for raw materials are maintained and supply issues escalated to the Management team.
Order raw materials and coordinate the delivery schedule.
Responsible for raising any stock issues when they arise.
Management of Purchase Orders
Work in accordance with company's values, HR and HS&E policies: instructions, minimum requirements and guidelines

Previous experience within a similar role, a minimum of 2 year's experience
Excellent communication skills
Previous experience within a FMCG environment
Good working knowledge of SAP and Excel
