About the Role:
Remedy is seeking a dedicated Early Years SEN Teacher for a part-time role (Monday to Wednesday) starting in January 2025. You will lead a small, supportive class of children with severe and complex SEND needs. Key responsibilities include:
Delivering a creative and individualised Early Years curriculum to meet each child's specific developmental and learning goals.
Providing a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that fosters confidence and independence.
Working closely with a team of Teaching Assistants to provide targeted 1:1 and group-based support.
Collaborating with parents, therapists, and external professionals to ensure holistic and tailored support for each student.
Using innovative SEN strategies and resources to ensure progress for all learners at their own pace.
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching EYFS and SEN.
Has a strong understanding of Early Years frameworks and SEN assessment strategies.
Brings experience working with children with complex needs, including autism, sensory impairments, and developmental delays.
Is a patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic educator with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
