Position Type: Full-time. Long-term and temp-to-perm contracts available.

Location: East Grinstead, West Sussex

What you'll do as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant:

Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with special needs
Implement tailored learning plans and adapted teaching materials
Foster and nurturing, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
Monitor student progress
Collaborate with teachers and parents
There will be some personal care

What you need to be a Special Needs Teaching Assistant:

Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility and creativity to adapting to student needs
Experience with special educational needs (desirable not essential)

Information on the Special Needs Teaching Assistant role:

Location- near East Grinstead, West Sussex

Pay- £85-100 per day. This is equivalent to £425-£500 per week Full-Time. Day rate is dependent on qualifications and experience.

Hours- 9am-4pm Monday-Friday. Full-time ideally, part-time negotiable.

Contract- ASAP-December. Contract likely to be extended. Temp to perm opportunities may become available.

Year- Key Stages 1-5 (Years 1-13, ages 5-19). Also FE College ages 19-25

Qualifications- GCSE Maths and English Grade C or Level 5 and above.
