Coordinate shift activities, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within time constraints.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical support to team members, promoting a strong safety culture and operational excellence.

2. High-Voltage (HV) System Management

Oversee the operation, maintenance, and safety compliance of high-voltage systems on-site, including switching, isolation, and restoration as required.
Conduct HV switching operations, ensuring all work is performed according to regulatory standards and company procedures.
Troubleshoot and resolve HV-related issues in a timely and effective manner, minimising impact on facility operations.

3. Maintenance and Operations Oversight

Monitor, inspect, and carry out routine and reactive maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems.
Implement and maintain preventive maintenance schedules, ensuring equipment reliability and minimising downtime.
Conduct fault-finding and diagnostic work on critical systems, escalating issues as necessary to maintain operational continuity.

4. Health, Safety, and Compliance

Ensure that all team activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, with a particular focus on HV safety standards.
Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks, promoting awareness of high-risk areas and safe work practices.
Participate in incident investigations, ensuring accurate reporting and implementing corrective actions where necessary.

5. Documentation and Reporting

Maintain detailed records of all maintenance, repairs, and HV switching activities, ensuring accurate and timely completion of work orders.
Generate shift handover reports, ensuring effective communication between shift teams and continuity of operations.
Provide regular updates to the Facilities Manager on shift activities, equipment performance, and any critical issues.
