Estimator / Sales Estimator / Sales Engineer required for a Global Engineering Manufacturer of high security engineering products.
The Estimator / Sales Estimator / Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical advice and solutions to customers, review documentation and enquiries as well as preparing and submitting quotations.  
Estimator / Sales Estimator / Sales Engineer will be based at the head office in Bolton and will be able to read technical drawings / engineering drawings and have prior experience as an Estimator / Sales Estimator / Sales Engineer or other relevant experience.
This role will suit someone with an engineering qualification such as a HND / Higher National Diploma / HNC / Higher National Certificate / BEng / MEng in an engineering discipline such as Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering / Civil Engineering or someone who has some prior estimating experience.
 
Package:
£30,000 - £35,000
25 days holiday + bank holidays

Monday to Friday
Office Based
 
Role:

Responsible for preparing quotations for customers and being the first point of contact for all enquiries
Read technical drawings / engineering drawings and come up with costs for components and orders
Review documentation and enquiries and respond in a timely fashion
Maintain strong relationships with customers
Speak to customers over the phone, in person and via email
Provide technical advice and provide solutions
Work towards targets and deadlines
Support the aftersales team with enquiries
Office based role in Bolton                                 Requirements:

Prior experience as an Estimator / Sales Estimator / Sales Engineer / Technical Estimator / Quality Inspector or similar
An engineering qualification such as a HND / Higher National Diploma / HNC / Higher National Certificate / BEng / MEng in Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering / Civil Engineering or similar
Able to read technical drawings / engineerting drawings
Live within commutable distance to the head office in Bolton
