Job Purpose

Working within the Power Generation production team to dismantle small Electro/Mechanical components (generators) down to their individual components, overhaul/repair and assemble generators ready for final testing following written instruction manuals.

Essntial Duties and Responsibilities

• Stripping, cleaning, inspection and build of small Electro/Mechanical components (AC/DC Generators/Starter Generators).

• Raising and completing inspection reports.

• Updating details onto computer system.

• Working with the team to meet production deadlines.

• Maintain quality standards in accordance with regulatory and company procedures.

• Work with the team leader to meet customer service levels.

• Meet health, safety and environmental regulations.

Experience and Qualifications

* ONC / HNC Engineering (desirable)

* Numerate and literate – minimum GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English (desirable)

* Experience of Power Generation, Electrical Theory is highly desirable.

* Prior experience in an engineering/workshop environment is essential

* Prior experience of Aerospace and/or aviation industry desirable
