Cover Supervisor – East and South Kent – ASAP

Twenty4Seven Education is seeking multiple passionate, capable and flexible Cover Supervisors for numerous highly successful mainstream Secondary Schools in Thanet, Swale and Dover. You will effectively supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher ensuring a calm, positive and inclusive learning environment.

Your new role:
* Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety, security and confidentiality reporting all concerns to an appropriate person to ensure pupils’ wellbeing
* You will deliver pre-planned lessons to pupils ensuring students are engaged, participating and being productive to ensure pupil progress
* Give pupils regular feedback and encourage pupils to respond to the feedback
* You will implement school policies on behaviour, addressing any disruptions promptly and professionally
* Maintain clear communication with teaching staff regarding lesson progress and any noteworthy incidents
* Deploy any support staff effectively
Qualifications & Experience:
* Proven experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role within an educational setting (minimum of 3 months of experience)
* Child DBS check on the Update Service or willing to pay and apply for a new one (Twenty4Seven Education can assist you with this process)
* Good Literacy, Numeracy and IT skills
