Interventions Teaching Assistant

£1664 - £1800
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
Contract dates
January 2025 – ongoing on a full-time basis.
A Primary school in Oldham is looking for a level 3 teaching assistant to deliver interventions sessions across KS1 and 2. This will focus on providing interventions to pupils who have fallen behind and have become disengaged and need support to bridge attianment gaps.
The role and school
The role include delivering interventions, across the core subjects to KS1/2 children. The successful candidate will be working with a variety of children, across different abilities, to ensure any attainment gaps are filled. The school is led by a fantastic senior leadership team that are constantly looking to develop and progress their staff whilst providing a fun and exciting working environment.
Requirements
To be considered for the Primary Teacher, you will:
Be able to build positive relationships with the staff and pupils.
Meet pupils needs as a whole and under the supervision of the class teacher.
Level 2 or above in a Teaching Assistant course.
Will be experienced in a long-term KS2 classroom within a primary school.
