Job Title: Electroplating Technician

Location: Hythe, Kent

Salary: £25,350 / £12.50 per hour

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm and Friday 8am- 1pm

Our Client:

Is a leading manufacturing and supplier of components for multiple industries. They offer a 360 degree service from design support, prototyping, assembly to the testing of finished products.

Family run businessKey responsibilities within your new role would be to:

Analysis and monitoring of chemical solutions.
Putting visual controls in place and managing them.
Being responsible for the Effluent Plant process sampling and analysis.
Monitor all plating activities and the effluent plant.
Be responsible for the planning of plating activities.
Identify and resolve plating related problems.
Carry out and review risk assessments.
Operate and monitor electroplating equipment.
Apply metal coatings (such as nickel, chrome, or gold) to various components.
Prepare components for plating by cleaning, degreasing, and masking.
Adjust concentrations and temperatures.
Inspect plated components for defects such as thickness, coverage, and finish quality.
Maintain accurate records of plating processes.Experience and skills required for this position:

Previous experience of electroplating.
Understanding of electroplating principles and chemical handling.
Keen attention to detail.
The ability to problem solve.
The ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for long periods of time.Next steps:
