As a Principal or Associate Sustainability Consultant, you will be part of a collaborative team of engineers, designers, and technical specialists dedicated to creating cutting-edge solutions for complex design and engineering projects.
This role can be based in either Bournemouth or Reading and offers a unique chance to develop your career.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead large-scale projects for high-profile clients, managing project teams and resource allocation
* Conduct workshops with the client and designers, presenting information clearly and effectively
* Perform various sustainability assessments, including carbon modeling, building performance and energy strategies
* Oversee environmental assessments (BREEAM, WELL, HQM, etc.), ensuring progress towards net-zero carbon objectives from design to completion
* Collaborate on research and development initiatives to remain at the forefront of industry sustainability trends and best practices
* Guide junior team members, delegate tasks effectively and providing constructive feedback
Key Experience:
* Experience within a sustainability or engineering consultancy
* A relevant degree in a sustainability-related field or engineering
* Strong communication skills and a passion for teamwork in a collaborative environment
* Experience with dynamic modelling for thermal comfort and overheating risk assessments
* Proficient with producing and supporting planning submissions for sustainability initiatives
