Dunbar Education is thrilled to partner with a dynamic primary school located in Dunstable, Bedfordshire. The school is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join our team for two school terms starting in January 2025.
Role Overview:
As a Year 4 Teacher, you will inspire and motivate your pupils, fostering a love for learning through creative and engaging lessons. You will be responsible for planning and delivering a curriculum that meets the diverse needs of the class while helping pupils achieve their academic and personal goals.
Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
Assess and monitor pupils' progress, providing timely feedback and support.
Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages pupil participation.
Collaborate with teaching assistants and staff to support all learners effectively.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about pupil's progress and well-being.
Maintain high standards of behaviour and promote a positive learning culture.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and initiatives.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably in Year 4.
Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A creative and adaptable approach to lesson planning and delivery.
Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
