I'm currently working on an exciting HSE Advisor position for an established Market Leading Manufacturing company in the West Midlands. You will need to have experience working as a HSE Advisor within Engineering and Manufacturing companies with knowledge and understanding of UK Waste and Environmental regulations.

Role Description

Establishing and implementing Health and Safety policies and procedures to maintain high standards.
Ensure that Health and Safety strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives, and operational needs to enable the company to function effectively.
Establishing long term Health and Safety initiatives, driving a culture of continuous improvement.
Monitor industry trends and H&S legislation changes, advising management on the necessary adjustments to policies and procedures.
Prepare and submit auditory reports when required.
Conduct regular risk assessments and spot check audits to identify potential hazards and recommended corrective actions.
Provide expert advice on H&S related issues, acting as the primary point of contact relating to Health and Safety matters.
Analyse data & utilise KPI's to identify improvements in all areas relating to H&S.
Recommend preventative and implement corrective actions and monitor the effectiveness of improvements.
Skills and Qualifications

Degree or similar qualification (or qualified by experience)
Minimum 3 years in the Manufacturing
Minimum 5 years in HSE related activities in a development and/or production environment
Application of QMS tools and techniques
Understanding or experience within Chemical Engineering / Chemistry would be advantageous
ISO14000, ISO9001, ISO45001
