Warehouse Operative - based in Elstree

Salary range £22,000 - £24,000 per annum

Full-time, permanent (no weekends)

Established for over twenty-nine years; Entel is an independent UK based corporate international group which has firmly established itself as a prominent global player in the radio communications industry. Entel operates its own design and manufacturing divisions, with distribution centres throughout the world.

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be an integral part of our small friendly Warehouse and Workshop team, utilising your core skills in product handling and warehouse experience to ensure efficient operations. With relevant experience in picking and packing, or a willingness to learn, and heavy lifting, you will contribute to the smooth flow of goods within the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

* Picking and packing orders.

* Booking stock into system.

* Stock control and physical checking of equipment.

* Unpacking and checking stock against stock lists.

* Checking data on the system.

* Working to tight deadlines.

* Working as part of a busy and friendly team.

* Supporting and liaising with other internal departments such as Sales Support and Workshop.

Requirements:

* Ideally minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in warehouse, picking and packing stock, although full training will be provided.

* Accuracy and good attention to detail to ensure orders are shipped correctly.

* Proficient using a PC.

* Friendly team player.

* Physically able to lift and move stock.

* Ability to follow set procedures and guidelines

* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a busy team.

* Live in Bushey, Radlett, Shenley, Edgware, Borehamwood, Elstree or Stanmore, Harrow, Barnet and be able to easily and reliably commute to our office in Centennial Park, Elstree (there is limited public transport).

* Good communication skills, with good English both spoken and written.
