As we expand our Technical and Higher Technical Qualifications, we are seeking an experienced Trainer eager for a new challenge in a progressive organisation.

We are looking for a highly motivated Trainer to join our team of industry experts in Plastering. In this role, you will deliver vocational training, ensuring students receive the highest quality educational experience. You will collaborate closely with your team to equip learners with the industry-standard skills and competencies necessary for success in the construction sector, instilling the values, behaviours, and attitudes essential for thriving in their careers.

About you
To excel in this role, you should be a highly dedicated and motivated individual with extensive knowledge and experience in plastering. You will need strong leadership skills to guide and inspire a team of teaching staff, ensuring they deliver high-quality vocational training to students. A background in education or training within the construction industry, particularly in plastering, is essential. You should be passionate about helping students develop the skills, values, and attitudes required for success in their careers. Additionally, excellent communication and organisational abilities will be vital as you manage staff and collaborate closely with your team to enhance the educational experience. Being adaptable and committed to continuous improvement will also be key attributes that you bring to this progressive environment.
Below is a list of some of the key skills, qualifications and experience we are seeking for this exciting opportunity.
Required
* GCSE Maths and English (Level 2 or equivalent)
* NVQ level 3 or above in relevant field
* Teaching qualification (must be willing to work towards Level 5 PGCE if not already held
Preferred
* At least 2 years’ work experience in a relevant discipline
* Experience of assessing against frameworks and standards
