GSL Education London Branch is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Geography/Humanities Teacher to join a vibrant co-educational comprehensive secondary school in Tower Hamlets. This exciting opportunity is perfect for a passionate Geography/Humanities Teacher who can inspire students and bring the subject to life in a supportive learning environment.

Geography/Humanities Responsibilities

Teach Geography at KS3 and KS4 levels, with a passion for engaging students in learning about the world around them.
Deliver high-quality Humanities lessons in line with the school’s curriculum.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to a range of learning needs and abilities.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued and motivated.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum design and implement effective teaching strategies.
Geography/Humanities Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK teaching qualification.
Proven experience as a Geography/Humanities Teacher in a secondary school setting.
Strong subject knowledge in Geography, with the ability to make lessons engaging and accessible.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Commitment to professional development and a genuine desire to inspire young minds.
