After School Club Assistant – to start as soon as possible

We are currently recruiting an After School Club Assistant who will work as part of the After School Club team, providing high quality play activities for children aged 4 to 11 in a welcoming, caring and safe environment.

You will have experience of working within a similar setting and be able to provide a fun and stimulating learning environment. Ideally, you will have a NVQ 2 or 3 qualification in childcare or play-work or other relevant qualification and have an understanding of children’s age and stage of development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work on your own initiative are essential.

This role is offered on a part time basis working Monday to Friday 3.30 - 5.30pm, term time only on a permanent contract with a competitive salary. We may consider working two or three afternoons to make up a job share for the role.
