About the Role:
We are a leading M&E contractor based in the Midlands, specialising in delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical solutions across commercial, industrial, and residential projects. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team and assist with Midlands-based projects.
 
Job Overview:
As an Electrical Estimator, you will be a vital part of the tendering process, preparing detailed and competitive bids for electrical projects. You will work closely with suppliers, sub-contractors, and internal teams to ensure accurate and compliant estimates.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Send out enquiries to suppliers and sub-contractors to obtain competitive pricing.
Perform take-offs from drawings and input data into estimation software.
Analyse received quotations to ensure compliance with tender requirements.
Complete tender analysis, including preliminary costs and specific project details.
Customise tender letters and summaries to meet submission requirements, incorporating clarifications as needed.
Collaborate with the project and design teams to ensure estimates align with project scopes. Requirements:

Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator with a reputable M&E contractor.
Strong Electrical background with experience in estimating full Electrical packages.
Relevant industry qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
SMSTS or SSSTS certification is desirable.
Proficiency in estimation software and the ability to perform detailed take-offs.
Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage deadlines and produce high-quality tender submissions. What We Offer:
