Salary Scale: £100-£130 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediately
Contract Type: Full Time (8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only)

Are you an English, Science or Maths graduate? Have you completed a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification? Or have you tutored/coached groups of children and young people to raise attainment?

GSL Education are currently looking for Cover Supervisors and Unqualified Teachers to work at an SEN Secondary School in Leicester.

The role involves working 1:1 with children with Challenging Behaviour, Autism, ADHD, Aggression, SEMH, LAC, CSE/CSA, those at risk of harm to themselves or others, as well as individuals with Attachment difficulties.

Full-Time and Bank Opportunities are available.

Your role will include:

Supporting the class teacher with planning, assessments, and marking
Delivering pre-planned lessons independently during the class teacher’s absence.
Ensuring that the children are always in a safe learning environment.
Providing 1:1 and small group booster sessions within and outside the classroom.
Covering PPA periods.
Being creative with wall and classroom displays.
Delivering Behaviour, Numeracy, Literacy, and Social Interventions.
Initially, this role will start on a temporary basis; however, there is potential for this to become a long-term position for the right candidate.

A valid right-to-work document.
An Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
Two proof of address documents (dated within the last 3 months).
An Overseas Criminal Clearance if you have been out of the UK for more than 6 months in the past 5 years.
Relevant qualifications, training, and/or experience.
A full driver’s licence and access to a car (desired but not essential).
