The Role: Teacher of Drama (KS3 - KS4)
Pay Scale: £165 - £240 per day (DOE)
Location: Northumberland
Start date: ASAP
TeacherActive is looking to appointed a full-time Secondary Drama Teacher to join a thriving and supportive school in the Northumberland area. The candidate can be a trained English or Media Studies Teacher with experience in Performing Arts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for engaging students through performance and drama.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach drama to KS3 students
• Plan and deliver dynamic and engaging lessons
• Adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
• Experience in Performing Arts
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• A passion for education and a commitment to student success
