Purpose of the Role:

To build, develop and maintain planning, forecasting and budgeting models in Anaplan which feed into an integrated group reporting suite, and collaborate with Finance colleagues to build wider team capability in Anaplan usage.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, expertise in Anaplan, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business insights and decision-making.

Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Experience of modelling in Anaplan.

Proven experience as a Finance Analyst or similar role in the hospitality or food and beverage industry is preferred.

Strong understanding of principles involved in planning, budgeting and forecasting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively business partner with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Strong business acumen and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.

Analytical mindset, with attention to detail and the ability to work with complex financial data.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.

Operationally proficient with the ability to plan, prioritise and deliver clear results.

Strong negotiation, influencing and presentation skills.

Self-reliant, resilient and proactive.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, ideally with experience in budgeting and forecasting within Excel.

A basic understanding of database structures (ideally experience using Snowflake).

Key Responsibilities - Duties and Responsbilities:

Model Development: Design, build, and maintain complex Anaplan models for financial planning, forecasting, and reporting.

Optimisation: Continuously improve our existing models to meet business requirements and actively look for Anaplan use cases across the business to maximise our use for the tool.

Data Management: Integrate data from various sources into Anaplan, ensuring data accuracy and consistency of outputs,

Collaboration: Work closely with finance stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective Anaplan solutions

Training & Support: Provide training and support for the FP&A team on Anaplan functionality and best practices, including documentation for processes and user guides.
