Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting dentists during procedures, and ensuring that the dental practice runs smoothly. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient comfort.
Duties
* Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, providing chairside support.
* Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
* Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
* Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, answer questions, and provide reassurance.
* Ensure the dental surgery is clean, organised, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
* Monitor patient comfort during procedures and provide post-treatment care instructions.
* Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a high standard of patient care is maintained at all times.
Requirements
* Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or equivalent experience.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling appointments.
* A compassionate approach to patient care, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Pay: £12.00-£13.96 per hour
