Class 2 Mixer Drivers

Rate of Pay: £13.50- £14.91

About the role:
Driver Hire are currently recruiting for Class 2 Mixer drivers for their client based in Chesterfield who are a leading supplier of high-quality concrete, servicing a wide range of construction projects. If you have experience operating mixer trucks and are dedicated to safety and quality, we’d love to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

* Safely operate a Class 2 concrete mixer truck to deliver concrete to various construction sites.

* Ensure the truck is loaded correctly and according to safety guidelines.

* Maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of the vehicle.

* Follow pre-trip and post-trip inspection procedures to ensure the truck is in safe working order.

* Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and site personnel to ensure timely deliveries.

* Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations, including wearing proper PPE.

* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time, volume, and site-specific instructions.

Qualifications:

* Valid Class 2 driver’s license (mandatory).

* Experience operating a concrete mixer truck or similar heavy vehicle (preferred).

* Strong understanding of road safety and traffic laws.

* Ability to work in all weather conditions and navigate various site environments.

* Excellent communication and customer service skills.

* Physically fit and able to manage the physical demands of the job, including loading and unloading concrete.

* A positive attitude and strong work ethic
