Are you a Junior CAD Technician with 2D CAD experience, looking for training and development in lighting design and electrical drawing?

On offer is a role within a developing company working in a tight-knit friendly office in a team of 3 that is focused on training and developing their own talent for the future and progressing people from within. You will have the opportunity to learn various software as well as the chance to develop CAM skills as the company now manufactures their own lighting.

In this role you will be working on projects that include office conversions and lighting design using 2D CAD to produce 2D electrical small power, Lighting and Fire alarm designs as well as lighting design drawings that will be turned into 3D renders using DIALux. It will be required to visit sites at different stages to plan and design lighting that matches the expectations of customers that you will be liaising with throughout the process.

This role would suit a Junior CAD Technician with 2D CAD experience, looking for an exciting opportunity to join a growing business that will invest in your career through tailored training and ongoing development to progress more senior roles in the business.

The Role

Learn various design software including DIALux as well as learn CAM design and processes
Produce initial drawings for projects and 3D renders for clients
Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm
Occasional travel to sites to liaise with clients and plan projects - Expenses paid for
33 Days holiday
