As a Plastic Injection Mold Setter, you will play a crucial role in launching their 16th manufacturing site based in Corby, bringing your expertise to ensure efficiency, quality, and sustainability in production.
What You Will Do:
Ensure injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment are set to optimal parameters, meeting quality standards and production goals.
Perform mold set-ups, start-ups, and use various testing methods to check product quality.
Troubleshoot processing issues, carry out preventative maintenance, and document process changes.
Contribute to environmental sustainability by minimizing material scrap.
Collaborate with Tool and Die Makers to enhance mold design for improved cycle time and quality.
Work within a rotational shift system, actively participating in the setup of a new production plant.
What You Will Bring:
3-5 years of experience in plastic injection mold processing, from mold setting to successful processing.
Hands-on experience with high volume injection molding and familiarity with molding machines and tools.
Strong troubleshooting, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a solution-oriented approach.
Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental sustainability standards.
