Tape Edger

Tape Edgers, experienced Tape Edgers are required to join us at our Manufacturing site based in Central Dewsbury, West Yorkshire.

A fantastic oppurtunity to work with one of the UK's most established manufacturers, genuine progression in terms of both pay and career.

Responsibilities:

Ensure that mattresses are produced to the correct specification & checking for any flaws.
Ensure the finished products are in line with the overall quality criteria
All tools & machinery are maintained and used correctly
Health & Safety guidelines are followed at all times

Daily tasks include:

Operating tape edging machines.
Inspecting finished products.
Maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
Meeting production targets

Key Skills & Experience:

Experience in tape edging
Attention to detail and quality craftmanship
Ability to follow technical instructions
Physical stamina for standing and lifting mattresses
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Team player
Good communication skills
Previous experience in upholstery or sewing (desirable)
Work well under pressure
Strong Work Ethic

Afters : £13.12 + £1.96 (unsocial hours allowance) rising to £15.97 + £2.40 (Unsocial Hours allowance)
