Maintenance Supervisor

An established recycling company based in Smethwick requires a heavy plant maintenance supervisor.
Duties:
* Direct supervision of, and first point of contact for the maintenance team. Managing holidays, absence, shifts, and arranging cover when required.
* General maintenance and repairs of mobile and fixed plant, including - forklift trucks, 360 excavators, loading shovels, shredders, conveyers and other general recycling plant machinery.
* Ensuring maintenance schedule is adhered to.
* Attend breakdowns, diagnose faults and fix.
* Ensuring critical spares stock is reported and repair sheets are completed.
* Advise operators on basic operator maintenance.
* Follow all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
* Supervisory / management and maintenance repair experience in a recycling heavy plant environment.
* Familiarity with the operation of a wide range of mobile and fixed recycling plant machinery.
* Health and Safety training.
Hours:
* 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
