Senior Architectural Technologist Job in Maidstone Kent

Senior Architectural Technologist Job in Maidstone Kent working with a Building consultancy,lead exciting healthcare, residential, and commercial projects across the UK and Europe, focusing on RIBA stages 3-6. With Revit expertise, enjoy flexible working and a clear path to MCIAT accreditation

They are a multidisciplinary consultancy offering design, building surveying, quantity surveying, project management, town planning and urban design services to a multitude of different sectors including education, residential, commercial, healthcare and the public sector. This Building consultancy is currently circa 120 staff primarily across the south coast and London.

Due to continued success, they are now seeking an senior architectural technologist to join the team.

Role & Responsibilities

Prepare tender and construction stage drawings, specifications, and coordinated project documentation

Collaborate with stakeholders, manage statutory approvals, and oversee consultant and supply chain submissions

Lead health and safety design reviews, including CDM compliance and hazard identification

Manage multiple projects across RIBA Stages 3-6, ensuring quality and client satisfaction

Develop innovative design proposals supported by building science and technology expertise

Mentor junior staff while staying updated on building regulations and industry standards.

Required Skills & Experience

5-10 years of experience as an Architectural Technologist in the UK, ideally Chartered (MCIAT) or working towards it

Confident with BIM software like Revit, AutoCAD, ACC, and NBS Chorus

Skilled in writing NBS specifications and technical detailing

Solid understanding of CDM regulations and Health & Safety requirements

Strong grasp of Building Regulations with practical, hands-on experience.
