Job Opportunity: Primary Teacher for KS1/KS2 in Gravesend

About the role:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate not only a strong educational background but also a deep understanding of child development and psychology. They should be adept at implementing evidence-based strategies for behaviour management, fostering a nurturing and supportive atmosphere where every student feels valued and respected.

In addition to excellent classroom management skills, the successful candidate should possess exceptional communication abilities, both with students and parents/guardians. They should be able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student welfare and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of all students.

Implement behavior management strategies to foster a positive and safe learning environment.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and personalized support.

Develop and maintain Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with behavioral needs.

Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and external professionals to support student development.

Participate in professional development opportunities focused on behavior management and inclusive education.

Foster a culture of respect, empathy, and resilience within the classroom and school community.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Experience teaching in a primary school setting, with a focus on managing challenging behavior.

Strong knowledge of behavior management techniques and inclusive teaching practices.

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for inclusive education.
