Driver Hire Southampton has a fantastic new opening for an experienced Van Driver to assist our client with their deliveries of hire equipment.

As a key member of the team, you will ensure that hire equipment reaches its destination safely and on time, providing exceptional service with every delivery. If you're a responsible driver who loves variety and enjoys interacting with people, this is the perfect opportunity for you

About this Van Driving role:

Monday to Friday ongoing work
7:00am- 5:00pm
Deliveries and collections of hire equipment around the South Coast
Use handheld device to track and take photos of deliveries, collections and exchanges
Carry out multidrop deliveries and collections- on average between 15-20 drops per day
Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure vehicle is safe to drive
You will be responsible of loading and unloading any equipment on the vehicle ensuring everything is strapped correctly using rachet strapsWhat we require from you as a Van Driver:

Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 1 year
Towing experience preferred but not essential
Own transport to commute to and from work
Strapping experience is required
Understand manual handling and heavy lifting procedures
Have exceptional communication and customer service skills
Flexible to work overtime when requiredBenefits of working with Driver Hire Southampton:
