Job Title: Teaching Assistant – SEN
Location: Tower Hamlets
Salary Range: £90 - £100 per day (Depending on experience)
Start time: January 2025, 8:30 am – 3:45 pm  
Contract: Long-term, Full-time 

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and ready to make a positive impact? If so, GSL Education are seeking a skilled Teaching Assistant in Tower Hamlets for a long-term, full-time role starting in January 2025.

Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant:

Provide dedicated one-to-one and group support to SEN students, particularly those with ASD.
Assist in creating and delivering engaging activities tailored to individual student needs.
Help to implement and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs) effectively.
Support students' personal care needs, including nappy changing, ensuring dignity and respect.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to develop and adapt teaching strategies.
Communicate progress and challenges with parents and school staff effectively.
Requirements of the Teaching Assistant:

Experience working in a primary school setting.
Strong understanding of ASD and SEN strategies.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A compassionate and proactive approach to supporting children.
Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
