The Role:
As a SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, tailored lessons to children with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, ADD, and more. You will assess each student’s strengths and adapt your teaching methods to meet their needs, ensuring their academic and personal growth.
What You’ll Do:
Deliver creative and engaging lessons that are tailored to the specific needs of students with SEN
Create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom where all students feel supported and valued
Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to provide personalised attention for each student
Approach every challenge with patience, empathy, and a dedication to the development of each child
What We’re Looking For:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential
A strong understanding of SEN and a passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit a variety of learning styles and needs
Excellent classroom management skills to create a focused, nurturing learning environment
Clear, compassionate communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues
A genuine commitment to making a lasting impact on students' academic and personal growth
