An excellent opportunity has become available to join a dynamic and talented Quality team at CIL as a Quality Engineer, within a fast-paced and growing organisation. If you are a dedicated Quality Engineer with a passion for ensuring product quality, we would be keen to hear from you

Key duties & responsibilities:

* Supporting all other departments to ensure they remain compliant to the accreditations strategic to CIL. Primarily; AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 13485

* Leading product quality in production, which would include containment, investigation, correction, implementation, and validation of corrective actions

* Assisting in the development of a Continuous Improvement culture throughout the Business

* Supporting the introduction of Customer lead Quality Initiatives such as Total Preventative Maintenance

* To assist with the maintenance and development of CIL’s Quality Management Systems

* To support in the introduction of any accreditations deemed necessary to reach CIL’s strategic direction

* To support the compilation and review of strategic company and departmental KPI's

* To identify and highlight opportunities for improvement in day-to-day activities

* To work closely with all other departments to ensure cohesion and synergy between teams to achieve quality product to the customer on time

* To undertake any other training/education identified by the company for career development

The ideal person will demonstrate the following:

* Ideally 2 years+ experience in a Quality Engineer position within a manufacturing/engineering environment or similar

* Knowledge of working to the following regulated standards: ISO 9001, AS 9100, ISO 13485, IATF 16949

* Experience in problem solving and investigation methods such as; 8D, CAPA, 5-Whys

* Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office, data handling and analysis

* Experience in planning and conducting supplier audits

* Excellent communication & team-work skills
