ENCLOSING OPERATOR - PRINT AND MAILING
NOTTHINGHAMSHIRE
Salary: £Open per hour (dependent on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, working on a 3-shift rotation
Holidays: Starting at 22 days per year, increasing to 27 days with service
Overtime Rates: Mid-week: 1.5x hourly rate / Weekends: 1.75x hourly rate
Benefits: Death in Service benefit / NEST pension scheme / Free tea and coffee / Early finish on Fridays
Our client based in the Nottinghamshire area are specialists in print, mailing, direct marketing and personalised promotional materials and they are currently looking to increase their team with an Enclosing Operator.
Job Purpose: To operate & adjust enclosing equipment to an optimum level ensuring that production requirements are being met and improved.
Main Responsibilities:
Responsible for setting and running enclosing lines
Responsible for loading all hoppers with the correct stock
Understanding Mailsort and making sure all work is frayed and presented correctly
Lead by example and ensure that all work produced by yourself is of the standard expected.
Help assist the Cell Leaders in the training of Trainee's by encouraging them and advising them.
Responsible for ensuring that quality and quantity standards are achieved
Ensure that all quality procedures are adhered to and all relevant paperwork is completed.
Recognise potential problems quickly and informing the Cell Leader or Shift Leader immediately.
Ensure PPE is worn as and when required and follow all COVID guidelines
General Housekeeping within the Mailroom Area
To undertake training as and when required.
Undertake to comply with the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and its associated policies
Any other duties that may be required from time to time.Technical Qualities:
Experience within a DM Operator role
Understanding of Health & Safety applicable to Finishing / Direct Mail
Conversant with various machine types and processes
Legible Handwriting.
